The New York Photography Awards announced to the public the list of 2021 laureates, honoring, recognizing and promoting outstanding photographers around the world.

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, December 16, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – New York Photography Prize announced to the public the list of the 2021 laureates, honoring, recognizing and promoting outstanding photographers from around the world, who have shared their vision with the world, through the lenses that represent the beauty of immutable reality, as well as the dichotomy of the panorama from Big Apple.

In light of this, over 3,000 photographic entries were submitted in its inaugural year, from over 50 countries around the world including: US, Italy, UK, Germany, South Africa, France, Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Taiwan, and Austria, to name a few. These participants proudly represented their country, producing a diverse assemblage of photographers for the 2021 awards.

Grand Jury
Along with the countless nominations, the New York Photography Awards ranked them, by blind judgment, according to the best industry standards, based on the creative messages and nuances behind each photograph. The winners were then selected based on their ability to meet the competition criteria. For this reason, the esteemed judges who have provided their valuable information this year are: Dave Koch, Susan Spiritus, Barbara Zanon, Wen-Han Chang, Nurlan Tahirli, Marine Foissey, Jai Thakur, Patty Maher, Paul Giggle, as well as d ‘ other international professional photographers.

Having passed the detailed assessment of the nominations of our esteemed judges, we are proud to announce the Photographer of the year is: Invisible Light of NYC by Raffaele Canepa (Italy), who will receive a cash prize of $ 3,000; while the amateur / student photographer of the year is: Circe by Bernd Schirmer (BYES Photography, Germany), who will receive a cash prize of $ 2,000.
