#ILoveMyNorthCoast Photography Contest – here are your winners!

It’s time to announce the winners of The North Coast Mail and PrintWild #ILoveMyNorthCoast Photo Contest!

We were looking for photographs that captured the essence of life on the North Coast, its people and its rhythms of life.

The response has been fantastic. Kudos to everyone who entered, we live in a beautiful area and you captured a lot of that vibrancy in your submissions.

But there could only be six winners.

First prize went to Stephen Gore for his photograph of the MSC Orchestra cruise liner off Ballito with a surfer in a barrel in the foreground. His prize is a PrintWild Faceblock Wall worth R3,560.

Second prize goes to Mo Heine for ‘Salt Rock beach sunrise’, winning an A2 contemporary framed photo collage, worth R2 126 (including design fee).

Third prize, a PrintWild canvas collage worth R1,879, goes to Joni Pires for her striking aerial photo of Ballito’s Clark Bay. Notice the popular coffee station and beach resident Barry sunbathing next to his fishing rod.

Fourth prize goes to Cheyenne Bergstrom for her photo of sugarcane harvested at Vallonia Sugar Estate in Zinkwazi. She wins a PrintWild dark wood frame worth R719.

The fifth prize is awarded to Jenny Onvlee for “Morning yoga classes on Seaward Estate”. Its price is 20 Tiny Tots worth R560 from PrintWild.

Last but not least, in 6th place is Sipho Gumbi for his clever photo titled “Flying over Lifestyle Centre”. His prize is PrintWild’s Mini Photo Box, a miniature version of The Photo Box worth R285.
