Huawei has eight 470 prizes for the smartphone photography contest

As inspired by the World, the sixth edition of the world’s largest smartphone photography competition, the Huawei Next-Image Awards, has just begun. The prices are wonderful and there is no one to go on the phone.

It has already started in China and is now coming to Europe. Focus on the goal of attracting the next generation of creative photographers, motivating them to submit high-quality photos that perfectly capture the beauty of our daily lives.

Of course, all this is done using a smartphone.

Do you have a phone from Huawei? Then award the Huawei Next-Image Award 2022.

To participate, contestants only need a Huawei smartphone and can submit their best photos and/or videos on the global website or in the local community.

The application deadline for applicants ends on November 15, 2022 at four o’clock in mainland Portugal (24 in Beijing, GMT +8).

The Huawei Next Image Award is an important part of Huawei’s Next Image project and aims to educate minds around the world on how the immersive digital experience can be captured. These are new expressions and mobile photography.

The competition, created in 2017 and repeated for five years. It attracts Huawei smartphone users from over 170 countries and regions and has around 3.26 million subscriptions.

By 2021, this year’s competition includes five new categories, including fashion and sports, as well as three video categories, titled Action, Short Film and Feature Film.

The Huawei Next-Image Award will be a great opportunity for all finalists to collaborate and join media partners. You will also receive official invitations to events. Indeed, it would allow them to deepen their photography experience and even get to know the next generation of smartphone owners with real experience.

Thus, this year, the competition is made up of nine conceptual categories, including:


Art and fashion are the best forms of self-expression, and in this category, entrants must capture a moment that inspires them.


Open the door and look around the edges. Inspiration is everywhere. The aim of the exhibition is to capture the nature of the photographs.


A picture reflects a thousand words. The purpose of this image is to capture the truth of the image.


Sport moves from emotion to action. The participant must capture a sporting moment that hurts the heart.


An inspiring or unexpected moment, straight out of everyday life. In such a category, a slice of life should be considered a victory.


A series of three to nine photographs that tell a story or mark a moment through different perspectives. The course of the subject must be captured.


Being in touch with the action can make your heart beat faster and reduce the calamity of your pupils. It takes 20 seconds to stop it. Here is a moment of intense action.


Each story has a character that the viewer loves or hates. The participant must tell a story capable of inspiring the world. For this purpose you can use:

Film: video between 5 and 30 minutes.

The Huawei Next-Image Awards 2022 are the perfect platform for photography professionals to showcase their masterpieces to the world.

Whether or not the photos/videos used were taken on Huawei phones, the photos and videos need not be taken from the other’s phones as well.
