Gloucester’s annual photography competition returns to its roots after two years of COVID disruption | Gloucester Solicitor

Gloucester’s annual photography competition returns with a restart after being changed to accommodate COVID regulations.

The Stix’s Pix 2022 organizers are looking to get back to the competition’s roots with photographers able to traditionally submit their works for the exhibition at the Gloucester Gallery.

For the past two years, PIX has run as a mostly online version of the competition with all photographs printed for the 2021 exhibition, which ended up being heavily disrupted by COVID.

As the competition returns for its 21st year, entries are opening with a return to the original logo and a nod to some of the original criteria and conditions.

Entrants can present their works however they see fit, ready to hang for the exhibition which runs from Thursday August 18 to Sunday September 11, 2022. However, entrants will also be required to provide a digital version for judging purposes.

The competition categories remain the same, as do the junior and senior sections and the entry fee reverts to the pre-COVID amount.
