For Theresa Fairchild, the love of photography began when she was just nine years old. Thanks to her parents and their interest in art and photography, she was encouraged to pursue photography and picked up her first camera.

According to her website, Fairchild’s work revolves around natural images and symbols that reflect her dreams and inspirations. Other images of her use different themes, including various uses of lighting, shadows, contrast – all inspired by the imagination.

“In my photographs that I have taken in the past and present, I always look for something that has moved my soul,” Fairchild said. “What I like to convey and convey in my photography is an emotional reaction but also a tactical reaction.”

Fairchild, which has a 25-year career, launched TF Pixels in November 2021. TF Pixels currently operates from home.

“It’s been a slow start, but I’ve been busy re-editing photos and doing ad campaigns and promotions,” Fairchild said.

Her first venture was TFM Productions (2000-2007), where she worked as a commercial photographer at six galleries and was a commercial art printer for artists in the Savannah area.

According to Fairchild, she was a pioneer in pioneering digital photography in the 2000s, when many Savannah-area photographers only used film photography.

She said some of her most defining moments as a photographer were location photography and commercial aerial photography.

“It was participating in these types of art that broadened my knowledge and made me want to learn more,” Fairchild said.

Fairchild is a Fellow of the American Society of Media Photographers and has published several artworks in Savannah Magazine as a commercial photographer, as well as editorial photography published in The Savannah Morning News, Coastal Antiques and Art, Tybee Breeze and more Again.

His work has also been featured in promotional photographs used in award-winning interior design portfolios and aerial photography published in The New York Times.
